Position Summary and Primary Objectives

Primary responsibility for IT security across the Group IT environment and shared responsibility for the Global WAN and hosting centre LAN.

Main Duties / Key Accountabilities

·         Design, testing, deployment and support of security applications and network technologies

·         Collating metrics for reporting purposes

·         Documenting system architecture and changes relating to security and networking

·         Help define the Group IT device-level security strategy and implement the strategy

·         Manage and co-ordinate activities for vulnerability management

·         Manage and co-ordinate activities for remediation management

·         Co-ordination of junior admin tasks specific to networks and security

·         Build strong relationship with the Group CSO in order to achieve group security strategy goals

·         Build strong relationships with regional and divisional managers and engineers in the security and network areas

·         Firewall management

Requirements: Education, Training and Experience

·         5 years solid hands-on experience in systems engineering, specifically for security, network and general infrastructure

·         Current MCSE certification

·         Current Cisco certification

·         PIX or other firewall knowledge

·         Experience with the following:

o        Cisco networks

o        PIX firewalls

o        Windows 2003 server

o        IP protocol

o        Windows 2003 Server platform

o        HP Hardware

o        ITIL processes

o        Security policy and enforcement
