Merchants, a wholly owned Dimension Data company,
is a leading provider of bespoke contact centre solutions. The company has a
27 year track record of successfully delivering customer contact centre
solutions for a variety of blue chip organisations, globally.
Merchants
is represented in the UK and South Africa. Their offshore contact centre
operations are located in Cape Town and Johannesburg and currently deliver
contact centre services for both international and South African clients.
They have a consulting presence in both these regions.
Through
their Joint Venture with TSYS - TSYS Managed Services EMEA - they operate
contact centres in the Netherlands and Milton Keynes.

is well placed to offer bespoke contact centre consulting and outsource
solutions that balance the interdependencies of cost, performance and risk.

Merchants/TYSYS

TSYS is one of the world’s largest payment services companies, offering a
broad range of packaged and outsourced issuer and acquirer processing
technologies that support consumer finance, credit, debit and prepaid
services for financial institutions and retail companies worldwide. In 2006,
Merchants and TSYS entered into a joint venture agreement to deliver a
comprehensive range of managed services to financial institutions across Europe,
the Middle East and Africa. The joint venture combines the call centre
capabilities of Merchants with a TSYS special business unit known as TSYS
Managed Services EMEA, both of which specialise in customer-servicing
operations, including back office, cross-selling and up-selling activities
for financial institutions engaged in card issuing and merchant acquisition.

Solutions
Internet Solutions is a division of Dimension
Data Middle East & Africa. Internet Solutions provides leading
next-generation business solutions to emerging markets on the continent.
Founded in 1993, Internet Solutions has evolved from an Internet Services
Provider to a fully fledged Converged Communication Services specialist.
Internet
Solutions has pioneered a range of technology solutions in South Africa,
including fibre optic links (1994), mobile connectivity and switched VPN
(1997), application hosting (2003), and VoIP and wireless hotspots (2005).
With offices in South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana and Kenya, Internet Solutions is
strategically positioned to support the expansion of the Group’s operations

Plessey
With a track record of over fifty years, Plessey
is Africa’s leading provider of turnkey telecoms infrastructure solutions. A
wholly owned subsidiary of Dimension Data, Plessey partners with technology
vendors to deliver services and solutions to network operators and service
providers. These include the establishment of core base station
infrastructure to delivering wireless, optical fibre, satellite, microwave
solutions and managed solutions – all key to Africa’s communications and
socio-economic development. Plessey has a direct presence in 22 African
countries.

Britehouse
Formed in 2006, Britehouse is a focused software
applications company that provides expert development, customisation,
integration, implementation and maintenance services across all major
business application. 3fifteen, Pebbletree, Auto-Mate and JSE-listed Paracon,
are the brands that Britehouse takes to market.
The
company is 60% owned by a Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) and investment
company consortium comprising VenFin Limited, Convergence Partners
Investments (Pty) Ltd and Safika Holdings (Pty) Ltd. The remaining 40% is
held by Dimension Data plc.
