Client relationships drive our business. Over the past three years Dimension Data has pursued a disciplined strategy to improve the quality of our revenue with strategic investment. We have successfully extended our value proposition to take advantage of anticipated market trends, grown at rates better than the market and improved our competitive positioning.
On 13 May 2009 we announced our Interim Results for the period ended 31 March 2009. The first half of financial year 2009 showed improved metrics with our Services business gaining strong market traction. Highlights included:
- Revenue grew 8.1% to $1.95 billion
- Regional performances were strong, notably Australia, Europe and Middle East and Africa delivering excellent performances
- Excellent execution in our Services business led to revenue growth of 22%
- Operating profit up by 37.4% to $88.8 million
- Earnings per share increased 28.3% to 7.7 cents
