Project interface

Dimension Data created its Project Interface to govern service delivery for all projects it runs in the Plan and Build Service functions.  The objective is to bring excellent quality of service to exhibit maximum value to client businesses through communication and management.

  • Quality Control
    Deliverables are reviewed regularly to achieve alignment to client technology strategies and quality standards. Quality control is critical to the success of any project and Dimension Data is committed to meeting internationally recognised best practice standards as well as in-house criteria.
  • Status Reporting
    Information on how the project is tracking against its Key Performance Indicators is provided through regular status updates and dashboards.  Specific reports for exceptions and escalations are created to clearly communicate changes to scope. Clients have access to status reports, activities and required actions at all times.
  • Change Management
    To reduce client risk, all changes to projects are logged, agreed and signed off. These changes to the scope and circumstances are assessed and managed to ensure successful completion of each project.
  • Communications Management
    Dimension Data identifies project stakeholders and fulfils communication requirements throughout the project. Enforcing predetermined communication criteria enhances Dimension Data’s understanding and ability to deliver value to client businesses.
