In 2007, Dimension Data was named one of Hewitt’s 2006/07 Best Employers in Australia and New Zealand. Hewitt’s findings are based on extensive feedback provided by Dimension Data employees, and we rated at 73% engagement, ranking us in the high-performance zone.

Dimension Data conducts annual Employee Satisfaction Surveys to gauge overall staff satisfaction and gather feedback on our business. Survey results are presented back to staff by Australian CEO Steve Nola during his quarterly road show around the States. The most recent survey recorded a very strong participation rate, with Dimension Data’s company image, culture, and leadership and management getting the overall highest rating from staff.

DDaWAY is a strategic planning weekend for all staff, featuring an agenda largely determined by employees. DDaWAY increases collaboration amongst colleagues from different branches and departments, and provides a fun environment to communicate the strategic direction of the company to employees.

Our Workplace Giving program provides staff the opportunity to support their favourite charities through pre-tax salary sacrifice mechanisms.  Dimension Data matches staff contributions to the value of 50%. In 2007, we matched donations to the value of $120,000.

Dimension Data constantly recognises and rewards staff achievements by presenting State, National and International Excellence Awards, and we established a Technical Hall of Fame in 2006. Long-service awards are also given, and Dimension Data’s sales and services performance is celebrated and widely-publicised internally.
