Internal IT engineers
Our business focuses on the IT needs of our clients, but we utilise a range of internal engineers to keep our own house in order. We recruit hot skills to fill positions for our in-house IT teams such as: IT technicians, enterprise application developers, systems engineers, software analysts, network administrators, web content administrators, security systems engineers, Group Ware specialists, telecommunication specialists, database and application architects, IT senior business analysts and IT directors.
Marketing
Our creative and resourceful marketing teams provide a wide range of services for internal and external audiences including: public relations, internal communications, market research, online marketing and event management. We also have a Creative Services team, which is an in-house design department (situated at The Campus, South Africa) that offers services such as graphic design, multimedia and video production to the global Dimension Data Group.
Finance and Accounting
Our clever ‘numbers people’ are always on the lookout for astute financial minds to work with us at Dimension Data. We need people with a variety of financial and accounting skills, such as creditors and debtors controllers, financial controllers, management accountants, financial managers, group accountants and tax consultants.
Human Resources
The goal of our Human Resources (HR) team is to be an indispensable business partner to the business in all people-related areas. Dimension Data has a strong focus on ‘people and culture’ and we are constantly improving and refining our services. Our HR teams perform general and specialised roles from recruitment, new hire integration, compensation management and benefits administration to learning and development management, career counseling and international mobility management. International collaboration on projects, global HR communities and sharing of lessons learned across the globe are part of life in HR at Dimension Data.

Legal
Our switched-on legal teams work with a variety of legal issues facing the business. Roles and responsibilities of our legal staff range from basic contract formulation, negotiation and administration, advising management of contractual rights and obligations, dispute resolution, development and issue of contract policies and procedures, operating practices and performance standards and interpretation and drafting of business contracts.
Administrative and Facilities
Administrative functions are diverse and exist in most areas of the business. Positions include personnel assistants, receptionists, administrative clerks, office managers, mail clerks and facilities managers.
Bid Management
An integral part of the sales process, Bid Management supports our strategies of profitable growth, client experience, operational excellence and people and culture, through the management of bids in accordance with a defined, consistent process. This vital team helps us to increase the probability of winning bids by ensuring high quality proposals, inhibit loss by managing risk, reduce our cost-of-sale by ensuring efficiencies in qualifying opportunities, and produce bid responses that are in full compliance with internal corporate governance stipulations and client requirements.
Purchasing
Our purchasing teams perform a variety of functions from simple checking of deliveries, record maintenance, purchase order management and shipping coordination to the complex management of all material purchases, budget management, supplier issue resolution, manufacturer relationship management, global purchasing efficiency creation and alignment of purchasing function with other business functions.
