Grant is the General Manager for Data Centres and Storage (DCS) solutions in South Africa . Grant’s track record spans more than 17 years in the IT industry and his qualifications include a BSc Eng (Elec.) degree and a Masters in Business Administration. Within the data centre and storage environment, Grant has specific expertise in architecting complex solutions in the areas of storage (including SANs NAS , CAS, replication, IP storage), backup (including software hardware, backup to disk), disaster recovery (replication solutions as well as disaster recovery consulting and planning), archiving (email, file database, fixed content),  servers (UNIX, Windows) and server virtualisation (VMware). During his more than 13 years spent at Dimension Data, Grant has fulfilled many roles including running the Dimension Data Emerging Africa business.
