heritage
One of our earliest achievements was the
development of a tool we called AccessView, which managed the PDH/SDH
transmission network. Developing AccessView gave us a unique insight into how
to build large scalable and distributed applications.
In our largest deployment of our early
AccessView management application, we operated in a distributed mode with a
distributed topology image spread over 38 geographically dispersed servers.
Our track record speaks for itself:
- More than 2,000 Next Generation and IP networks
built
- Over 200 OSS platforms successfully
deployed
- Experience in developing enhanced
applications that increase top-line revenue
- 20 Years of hands-on know-how,
accumulated in successfully delivering large, complex solutions to large
enterprises and telecommunications service providers around the world
In 2000, Dimension Data was invited by the TeleManagement Forum to
participate in its NGOSS Catalyst Project Programme. Since then, we’ve
continued to be actively involved in a number of working groups, Catalyst
projects and presentations at the Telemanagement World Conferences,
including:
- Member of the Mobile Terminal
Management Forum
- Member of the NGOSS team
- Catalyst Project Leader - IP VPN
