Supporting children across the world through World Vision
World Vision is an international Christian organisation dedicated to the sustained well-being of children. It works with families, communities, and partners to protect, educate, and care for children, especially those who are most vulnerable. Dimension Data employees participated in a number of activities and fundraising events to support the work of World Vision, some examples of which are given below.

Hong Kong and Indonesia support Child Sponsorship Programme
World Vision’s Child Sponsorship programme is a community development programme that addresses the root causes of poverty and is aimed at sustaining long-term positive change in a child’s life. More than 10 million children have been, and are being, helped through Child Sponsorship worldwide. Dimension Data Indonesia continued its sponsorship of 13 children, which started in 2010. The children sent notes and New Year’s wishes to the team to thank them for their continuous support and to let the team know how much the support means to them.

Dimension Data Hong Kong also sponsored 13 children living in China through this programme. Employees prepared greeting cards and stationery sets as gifts for all of its sponsored children to share their blessings during the Chinese New Year.

Philippines participates in World Vision Run Inspired to help children who don’t receive a proper education, employees from Dimension Data Philippines participated in the World Vision Run 2013 at Bonifacio Global City. All runners completed the race in good spirits and felt that they had done so as one team, and for a good cause.
