What happens to your application after you’ve sent it?

STEP 1: We will review your application and provide feedback to you
We often receive many great applications for our vacant positions. Our team members will review all the qualified applications we've received and look for the ideal combination of experience and education applicable to the position. If your skills and experience don’t match our requirements, you will receive a letter from us thanking you for your application and indicating that you were not successful. If we are not certain about the match, we may set up a telephone interview to clarify any points with you.

STEP 2: If we see a great match, we will set up interview(s) with you
If we can tell from your CV and references, and potentially from a telephone conversation with you, that you are a suitable applicant, it’s time to invite you to meet with us (an interview). You’ll be asked to come in to one of our offices to meet with one of our HR team members as well as the hiring manager. Depending on the position, you may also be required to be interviewed by other members of the team or related teams. During this stage, we'll be exploring your interests in pursuing a career with our company, expose you to the Dimension Data culture, and allow you to interact with us and understand your skills and experience. STEP 3: For some positions, some testing is required
If you wow us in the interview(s), you may be required to sit some talent and ability assessments. The assessment tells us just that little bit more about you and what makes you, you.
These assessments, along with your skills set, knowledge and experience, are used to make an informed and fair recruitment decision.

STEP 4: If you pass the tests, we will do some background checks
If the interview(s) give us a clear indication that you are the person for the job and our team member decides to extend an offer to you, we will conduct a background investigation, which includes verification of education and your previous employment.

STEP 5: If you pass the background checks, our team member will send you a job offer package
Once the background checks are done, the hiring manager will discuss a benchmarked remuneration package with our HR specialist. You will then receive a job offer from us and we will look forward to your acceptance and bringing you on board with us!
