Andre is a Solution Architect with impeccable academic and practical credentials. He holds a postgraduate degree (BSc (Hons) Applied Sciences (Electronic)) from Pretoria University, with a distinction in Advanced Microprocessor design, on top of his Baccalaureas Technology (Electrical Engineering), where he attained distinctions in Power Electronics and Engineering Management. He has Sun Microsystems, Veritas, Compaq, HP, EMC and VMware certifications and has attended numerous international conferences to stay at the forefront of emerging technology.

During his career with Dimension Data, Andre has excelled as Architect and Technical lead on several major projects, including a large storage deal for a cellular service provider, and was Presales Engineer on the largest Sun deal ever concluded in South Africa. Not only do clients love his progressive and workable solutions, but he is a valued and popular team member within the company, having won the Dimension Data Enterprise Systems Peer Award on two occasions, as well as the Esteem Award.
