Join an innovative, high-performance
IT organization to help better align IT strategy and initiatives with
business goals, understand IT’s impact on operational efficiency and
pro-ductivity and coordinate key projects with functional stakeholders.
Position will interface directly with the VP of Information Technology as
well as key business management, vendors and partners in meeting these
goals.
Specific tasks will include:
• Act as a liaison between
business and functional stakeholders in key it projects ensuring
consistency in requirements, strategy and implementation of key projects
• Working with the VP, IT
and management to help develop and track financial and operational metrics
for key IT projects
• Work across both the Infrastructure
and Applications IT teams to understand the overall IT project portfolio
and its impact on the business
• Continually assess
business needs and opportunities with the VP, IT and how they might be
addressed through strategically leveraging technology
• Investigate industry
benchmarks and how they relate to internal solutions
• Interaction with key
stakeholders and management
• Assist with business
continuity and disaster recover planning
Requirements:
• Bachelors’ Degree in
business or engineering
• At least 5 years
management and/or finance work experience for a technology company
• Strong interpersonal and
consultative skills
• Basic understanding of
finance and operations for mid-size business
• Strong verbal and written
communication skills
• Demonstrated
self-initiative and self-direction in learning activities and profes-sional
development
A senior PA functional analyst would
have the following qualifications:
1. At least 1 full
implementation as the lead analyst for Project Management, Project Costing
and Project Billing.
2. Has implemented the MS
Project Integration with Microsoft project.
3. Worked specifically in the
Oracle Projects area for at least 3 to 5 years.
4. Must be able to perform sql
table queries using TOAD or SQL*Plus.
5. Must be familiar with the
Oracle Projects tables.
6. Must have expanded experience
in implementing time and materials projects and fixed price projects.
7. Must be able to setup a
project, create budgets and baseline, perform billing all the way through
Accounts Receivable.
8. Must be able to alter Auto
Accounting rules in PA.
9. Must be able to go into
General Ledger and look up accounts and journals as related to Oracle
Projects.
10. Must have experience in the self
service applications, such as OTL, Project Management and iExpense.
11. Must have Business Analyst
skills and be a self starter with little supervision.
12. Must be able to log and work
Service Requests with Oracle in regards to Production issues.
13. Must be able to utilize MetaLink
to resolve daily Production issues.
