Over the past three years Dimension Data has pursued a disciplined strategy
to improve the quality of our revenue with strategic investment. We have
successfully extended our value proposition to take advantage of anticipated
market trends, grown at rates better than the market and improved our
competitive positioning.
On 12
November 2008 we announced our Annual Results for the period ended 30
September 2008. The year to end September 2008 showed strong increases in
revenue, operating profit, and EPS, with growth and margin expansion in all
regions. Highlights included:
- Robust top line performance – revenue
up by 19.5% to $4.5 billion
- Good revenue growth in all regions, but
notably Asia (+23%), Middle East and Africa (+27%) and Europe (+108%)
- Strong revenue growth from all lines of
business - Network Integration up 20%, Security up 31% and Converged
Communications up 22%
- Operating profit up by 39% to $182.2
million
- Earnings per share increased 28.3% to 7.7
