Manage
The Manage Service function is the phase where we realise enhanced value-added benefits for our clients. Our focus here is on maximising return on investment, taking ownership and providing accountability and full lifecycle support of our clients’ current IT infrastructure and systems.
Dimension Data embraces global best practice throughout its business. From an IT Service Management perspective, we have modelled our managed services processes on the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL). ITIL processes are defined across Dimension Data and deployed consistently, giving you peace of mind that you will receive a consistent service experience – wherever you are based. Furthermore, our working procedures have been directly derived from our processes and include local specificities. This means we are able to meet your requirements, regardless of your organisation’s geography and culture. Our client-facing resources are comprehensively-trained in the application of ITIL and around 95% of the staff in our Global Service Centres are ITIL Foundation-certified. What’s more, we ensure continued alignment of our process to new ITIL standard processes on an ongoing basis, as these are developed and released. The processes associated with our Manage Service function are aligned to the ITIL V3 standard.
We can supply “Manage” Services as a solution to your technology management challenges, or engage in a project to help you build your own capabilities in-house.

Is your organisation ready to face the enterprise mobility tide?
Enterprise mobility. The concept of connected intelligence. Always connected. Seamless availability of resources, people and information.
With a multitude of new devices on the market, end users are demanding access to corporate networks from wherever they are, at any time, and from any device. Mobility is becoming mission critical for organisations operating in competitive global and local markets, and individuals who value agility and work/life balance.
Benefits of mobility include:
• Increased productivity and agility
• More reactive customer service
• Sharper competitive edge
• Improved sustainability
• Attract and retain dynamic and highly skilled human resources
While the benefits of a mobile workforce are compelling, organisations face far-reaching impacts to every aspect of IT infrastructure. Balancing the benefits of mobility with the risks to infrastructure, networks, security and applications requires a structured approach.
