At the Annual General Meeting on 30 January 2008, shareholders of Dimension Data approved the payment of a dividend of 1.5 US cents per share (2006: one US cent) or its equivalent in other currencies of payment, using the exchange rates prevailing as at the close of business on Thursday, 31st January 2008.

The local currency equivalent of the dividend was as follows:

• South Africa US$1 - ZAR 7.454, which equates to a dividend amount of 11.2 cents per share
• UK US$1 - GBP 0.502, which equates to a dividend amount of 0.75 pence per share

The final dividend was paid on Friday, 14 March 2008 to shareholders on the share register at the close of business on Friday, 15 February 2008. The Directors did not offer a share alternative to the 2007 final dividend.
