Dimension Data's purpose is to accelerate the ambitions of our clients, our people, our shareholders, and our society. Through our corporate social responsibility programme, Heads, Hearts and Hands, we give our employees the opportunity to make a real difference by giving of their time, creativity, and talent. We want to invest in our future and make a lasting impact - and that's why many of our Heads, Hearts and Hands initiatives involve organisations and activities that support youth and education.

Make a Change programme to support youth development
Employees at Dimension Data Germany launched the Make a Change programme to support youth development. They partnered with the Das Multicultural Project for Kids (MCP e.V.) which was founded by the former boxing professional, Jerry Elliott, in 2004. The goal of MCP is to provide vulnerable youths with the opportunity to get involved in sports, particularly boxing, for free.

Through MCP, young people from challenging social backgrounds are motivated, encouraged, and given fresh perspectives on their challenges. Boxing techniques, physical as well as mental fitness, tolerance, respect, and teamwork are some of the values taught through this training. Employees in Germany will support the MCP on an ongoing basis, particularly by offering assistance to build two new boxing studios, as well as through job application seminars with the young children at the centre.
