On-demand multi-service mobile platform successfully secures network infrastructure and wireless connectivity to support customer growth

Singapore – 9 January 2019 Dimension Data, a USD 8 billion global technology integrator and managed services provider, announced today that it has been chosen by an on-demand multi-service mobile platform, to secure its network connectivity, improve network infrastructure and increase employee productivity. The multi-service mobile platform deals with a million transactions daily across its diverse portfolio of services, while providing services to a massive network of customers and partners.

Dimension Data was appointed as the IT partner of choice to undertake an end-to-end IT project for the company’s new headquarters in Jakarta. The project encompasses product management, design and implementation of an integrated network infrastructure solution. Dimension Data’s Technical and Support Services was also provided to further optimise performance.

The overall solution also includes wireless authentication based on Google Apps credentials in the cloud. This allows employees to Bring Their Own Devices (BYOD) and connect to the office network in a seamless and secure manner. With highly available internet connections and a stable network infrastructure, the IT team no longer needs to rectify connectivity issues on-demand, resulting in productivity gains and time savings.

“Today’s dynamic digital landscape means organisations need to constantly focus on empowering and engaging their employees to accelerate business innovation. They need to keep pulse with constant changes and stay ahead by maximising internal efficiencies through technology. We are very excited to be working with one of the region’s most exciting technology innovators that is leading the on-demand services industry on mobile today. We are committed to the success of the implementation and believe that it will continue to improve employee productivity, drive enhanced collaboration, enhance security and boost business innovation,” said Hendra Lesmana, Country General Manager, Dimension Data Indonesia.

Dimension Data was selected for demonstrating a pro-active understanding of the client’s business challenges and how to go about solving them. This includes dedicated Wireless and Network Assessment sessions and workshops to deep-dive on the business requirements and map out network improvements.
