Reducing the amount of manual work

Your organisation’s success primarily depends on one key asset, which is also one of your largest areas of investment, your employees. To get the best results, you need to identify ways to find and retain top performers in your organisation. For Ster-Kinekor, retention was their most important objective. They wanted to drive business efficiencies by focusing on improving their human capital management systems.

With 500 openings across the Ster-Kinekor Head Office and Theatres, there was a need to put a recruitment system in place that could capture and manage current requisitions, and capture the talent and referrals applying for positions within the group. It was crucial for Ster-Kinekor to increase their human resource operational efficiencies by managing a talent pool from a central platform, which is not paper-based or labour intensive.

With an average of 500 job openings across the Ster-Kinekor group, it was incredibly important that a central platform was utilised to store, analyse, and process information about Ster-Kinekor's talent pool. This ensured that they knew more about their requisitions and about candidates who were applying to the organisation.

The central platform was key to creating a seamless experience across their branches. It allowed management to easily control and track the recruitment processes on a single system. The end result was that Ster-Kinekor could allocate human resources more efficiently. They've also reduced the duplication of tasks, loss of information, and the risk of not considering potential candidates due to ineffective paper-based systems.
