Innovative ideas that change the status quo

2019 winner: Audvice (AT)

An app that allows students to create, share and listen to playlists and tracks related to their studies. It encourages them to use more learning methods than just reading and re-reading. By actively recording, listening and repeating, you can improve your memory retention by up to 50%.

2020 winner: Lava Aqua X (UK)

A portable washing machine that uses filtered shower water to wash clothes. The product uses a third of the water a regular washing machine uses and is faster. If every student in London were to use the Aqua X, we could save enough water to fill 700 Olympic-sized swimming pools a year.

If you would like to apply for Red Bull Basement and kickstart your idea using technology to drive positive change.
