Heads, Hearts and Hands

The conscious need to become involved in a worthwhile cause that goes beyond your daily routine is one of the reasons our corporate social responsibility umbrella programme, Heads, Hearts and Hands, is such a successful initiative. We want to encourage our wealth of available talent to be architects of change. That's why we involve all five regions and give our people the opportunity to work with initiatives that are close to their hearts.

Our people become part of a volunteer team effort that builds character and confidence. They establish a meaningful relationship with the company that goes beyond a job. They also develop a sense of community with a culture of caring for those less fortunate than themselves.

Inspiring our employees

Using their expertise as Dimension Data employees to make a difference, our people flourish professionally and personally thanks to this initiative.

Nick Efstathiou from our Group Finance office took the time to get involved with Hearts of Hope Children's Home in Johannesburg, saying, 'It's the small things in life that make a difference, and sometimes we get so consumed by our everyday lives that we forget about what really matters.'

Solutions Manager Ralph Roberts from America describes his work with New York-based City Year, an education-focused non-profit organisation, as 'a fulfilling experience'. Our Asia Pacific team is passionate about the development and education of children, natural disaster relief and urgent local community needs, and South Africa's incredibly successful Dimension Data Saturday School continues to go from strength to strength.
