Next-Gen Management Programme

The Dimension Data Next-Gen Management Programme is a 12-month accelerated development programme, dedicated to continuous professional development through direct job placement from induction, and immersing early career professionals into Dimension Data’s winning culture to become an integral part of the organization’s future success.

Based in the Asia Pacific region  (India, Singapore, New Zealand, Japan, Malaysia, China, Indonesia, Philippines and Taiwan), our successful Next-Gen applicants will be placed into one of the multiple areas of Dimension Data’s functions, solutions and services, and given hands-on experience of the organisation’s business operations within the IT industry. The formal development aspect of the programme will encompass structured curricula via Dimension Data’s online university and live seminars with partner universities. Our ‘Next-Gens’ will also undertake specific action-learning project work designed to increase their scope for business impact, allow them the opportunity to create and facilitate change, and build their leadership capabilities. The programme will also involve robust coaching and mentoring, empowering participants through on-the-job supervision, and providing navigation of career choices and guidance to attain career goals. Various networking opportunities will also be made available with Dimension Data’s executive leadership body, alumni connect sessions, and collaboration amongst each other as a means of building strategic, long-term relationships and learning from each Next-Gen’s different experiences.

Do you have what it takes to be a Dimension Data Next-Gen IT Leader?

Taking into account the variety of roles available, you will hold equivalent to or above a Bachelor Degree, and up to three years’ working experience. You will have excellent communication and presentation skills, a proactive mind-set and a vigorous drive to continually develop your capabilities. You will be detail- orientated, be able to critically evaluate complex data and be receptive to new information and ideas to close your knowledge gaps. Continuous learning will be important to you and you will confidently step up to challenges that will influence and inspire others.

Selection Process

The first step in the selection process will be to review your application and determine if you meet the qualifications stated in the job description. You will then be asked to complete an online cognitive ability and leadership competency assessment. If you are successful, you will be invited to an interview that will allow you to display those qualities that cannot be captured on paper. After the interview, and upon reviewing all the data collected during the selection process, we will decide if you will be one of our Dimension Data Next-Gens.
